Definitely! A high-protein diet can help you lose weight faster and it’s also perfect for muscle building because it’s a source of highly bioavailable protein rich in essential amino acids, which are the vital building blocks of muscle tissue.
whey+ makes it easier to hit your daily protein needs.
If you see that a protein powder contains any added amino acids, be skeptical.
Additional amino acids is often a sign of amino spiking, which is a deceitful practice wherein large amounts amino acids like L-glycine are included and counted them toward the total protein per serving. This is misleading because protein is a complex chain of up to 21 different amino acids. There are no proteins that contain only one amino acid.
Amino spiking is a common way that protein manufacturers and sellers rip consumers off. This way companies sell low-quality protein that contains for example just 15 grams of protein per serving, add several grams of an inexpensive amino acid like glycine or alanine and legally say it contains more protein per serving than it really does.
There’s little to no reason to add amino acids to protein powder, including BCAAs, and so this often just means the product is amino spiked.
A good way to protect yourself as a consumer, however, is to check ingredient lists, serving sizes, and amounts of protein per serving before buying.
Sunflower lecithin is used in protein powder (and many other foods) to help stabilize certain mixtures of ingredients.
Usually the more common form soy lecithin is used, which is cheaper and contains soy. While it’s generally a good idea to limit your intake of soy products (and soy protein in particular) because it may have feminizing effects in men 1, you can rest assured that we only use the more expensive and healthier sunflower lecithin.
Whey protein powder can be used anytime to help you meet your protein needs. Although the ideal ratio between whole food and supplemental protein is still unclear when it comes to research, we suggest that getting at least 50% of your daily protein from whole food sources is a good rule of thumb for the purposes of healthy dieting.
Xanthan gum is a popular food additive that’s commonly added to foods as a thickener or stabilizer.
It can be produced from simple sugars using a fermentation process.
Unlike most whey proteins, whey+ contains virtually no lactose. This means it contains no soy, lactose, gluten or nuts, making it suitable for people with allergies. This makes it is very easy to digest and provides the body with both short and long-term proteins.
whey+ can be used anytime you need help to meet your protein goals. For optimal results, take 1-3 servings daily after exercise or in the morning.
When it comes to protein powders you get what you pay for.
Producing a high quality whey protein powder isn’t cheap and if you’re paying less than 20€ per kilo as a consumer, you’re probably buying junk.
On the other hand, just because a whey protein is expensive doesn’t necessarily mean it’s worth it.
Many supplement companies are mixing a relatively small amount of whey isolate into a base of low-quality whey concentrate to create a so called “blend.”
Then, in the packaging and marketing, calling special attention to the isolate without making it clear that these comprise only a small percentage of the overall protein.
Or they put a lot of unnecessary ingredients in their products to make them look fancy and more expensive while the necessary ingredients make up only a small portion of each serving.
A good way to protect yourself as a consumer is to check ingredient lists, serving sizes, and amounts of protein per serving before buying.
The first thing you should know is ingredients are listed in descending order according to predominance by weight.
So if a protein powder lists whey concentrate as the first ingredient, that means it has more whey concentrate than anything else.
The amount of protein per scoop relative to the scoop size can tell you a lot about a protein powder as well.
If a scoop is 40 grams but there is only 22 grams of protein per serving, don’t buy it unless you know that the other 18 grams are made up of stuff you want.
When creating our supplements, we wanted to go in a different direction. So we focused on delivering only the best ingredients in the highest amounts possible, so that you really get what you pay for!

I tried this shake after using chocolate whey from another brand for a few weeks, I’m sure I’ll never switch back to the other one. Very natural taste & not too sweet. Love it!

I was recommended this brand by a friend so I decided to give it a go and I am glad I did! I really liked the quick shipment and the additional shaker they provide alongside the protein powder. The protein powder tastes amazing with a natural chocolate flavour which is not too sweet either and I really appreciate the effort and care they put into the quality!
